Hello everyone, welcome to the Ashley Barrios State Farm Insurance Agency here in Cut Off, LA! Insurance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up as a true “State Farm Baby.” My uncle was a State Farm agent, and my mother was his office manager for 30 years. Because they started as a scratch agency and worked hard to build their business, I spent my summers and holidays in the office beginning at just nine years old. State Farm is all I ever knew, and those early experiences helped shape a career that has now spanned 41 years with State Farm, including 38 years of industry experience.

I opened my own agency in Lockport, Louisiana in 2006 and proudly relocated to our current office in Cut Off, Louisiana in 2013, located on the Cote Blanche Connection near Southern Home Furnishings. I graduated from Archbishop Blenk High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Over the years, I have been honored with recognition including Ambassador Traveler and Chairman Circle achievements, while continuing to focus on helping individuals, families, and business owners make informed insurance decisions.

As someone who has spent decades serving coastal communities, I am honest, knowledgeable, and experienced in the unique coverage needs that come with living in coastal Louisiana. My office proudly serves customers throughout Louisiana and Mississippi, and we can assist in English through in-person or virtual appointments by request.

Family and community are at the center of my life. My husband of 18 years, Jim Seward, is a retired naval architect and engineer. We enjoy spending time with our son, Riley Barrios-Seward, who attends Nicholls State University, along with our daughter, Margaret Seward. Our home is also shared with three dogs: Stella Jane, Louis Vuitton, and Tito James. When I am away from the office, you can often find me offshore fishing, cooking my catch, or cheering on the Saints and the LSU team.

Giving back to the community has always been important to me. I serve as a board member of the Lafourche Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of CASA of Lafourche, and Secretary of the Golden Meadow-Fourchon Tarpon Rodeo. These roles help me stay connected to the people and businesses I serve every day.
